…Comes this movie — set to come out some time in November — features John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt, Thandie Newton, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson.

My beef? It’s brought to us by the same people that, in my opinion, brought us the worse movie of all time (yes, even worse than Troll 2)… The Day After Tomorrow. UGH. Don’t get me started. The trailer should say “From the idiot who over directed the fuck out of ‘10,000 B.C.’ comes a story so impossible, so absolutely ridiculous… in the face of complete gory, distructive, and expensive annihilation, one family is united completely hopelessly while everyone around them — including the White House, I’m sure — are crushed like over ripe melons… ” I also suggest that the movie tagline be changed to “Everything falls over in 2012″.

Here’s the plot:
Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

So, what do you think? Will this be absolutely ridiculous? I hate that John Cusack is in it because I freakin’ love that guy.
